Alfred Jules Ayer (Londres, 29 octobre 1910 - 27 juin 1989) est un philosophe, logicien et éthicien britannique. Il a écrit le livre Language, Truth, and Logic en 1936. Il a enseigné à l'Université de Londres et a l'Universite d'Oxford.
