La liste des codes des plastiques, caoutchouc et latex est établie à partir des codes des matières plastiques, selon la norme ISO 1043 [:12-2001], et des codes des caoutchoucs et latex, selon la norme ISO 1629, ainsi que la norme ISO 18064 [:2003] pour les élastomères thermoplastiques. Ces normes sont établies par l'Organisation internationale de normalisation.
